The hugely successful Get Happy Tour featuring Bowling For Soup, Bloodhound Gang,
Zebrahead and Army of Freshmen wrapped up last month after 5 great shows in Europe
and 11 massive shows in the UK.  This was the biggest tour Army of Freshmen has ever
done in the UK and hopefully they will be back in the late spring.  In other news, Bowling

The Aquabats! played a great one-off show at the Carling Academy in Islington, London
earlier this month alongside World / Inferno Friendship Society, Sonic Boom Six, Failsafe
and Swound.  Thanks to the 500 people who showed up...the following message is from
the band:

Thanks to all the kids and cadets that came out the show in London!! It was amazing that
so many of you showed up when so many things were happening in and on the same day
in London. Here is a short list of things happening the same day in the United Kingdom:

1. Live Earth concert at Wembley stadium!! 100,000 people and counting,
2. Wimbledon tennis championship finals!,
3. The Grand Prix!,
4. The Tour de France! first ever UK kickoff!,
5. Torrential Rain Storms and Flooding! Mother Nature is not so happy,
6. Over 1,000,000 tourists packing the streets!

Needless to say, it didn't look like a good competitive time to book an Aquabats show and
yet, we had a great turnout, in spite of overwhelming odds!! Thanks again to everyone
that made it! It was great to see all of our old and new friends again!!
The Aquabats! are involved with a TV show called Yo Gabba Gabba that will air on Nick
Jr in the US starting on August 20...check out the video below from E! channel's Daily 10
