The Good To Go Tour is a UK multi-artist package tour that
showcases a range of both rising and established American
bands from the Pop/Punk genres alongside a variety of up
and coming British acts.

The first Good To Go Tour took place in October 2005 and
proudly presented Southern California's Rock Superheroes
The Aquabats! in their first tour of the UK alongside Never
Heard Of It, one of America's most successful wholly
independent rock bands.  The bill was completed by Army of
Freshmen (who joined for a few dates following a two week
tour with the Grammy nominated Bowling For Soup), and
Sonic Boom Six, Manchester's genre-defying female fronted
rockers.

July 2006 marked the second Good To Go Tour and the
eagerly anticipated return of The Aquabats!, who took a
co-headline slot alongside Chicago's Allister, one of Drive
Thru Records earliest signings and a band whose melodic
punk has won legions of fans since their 2002 breakthrough
record Last Stop Suburbia.  Rising English bands The
Riverclub and Failsafe supported, and with MC Lars making
a couple of appearances and Sonic Boom Six returning for
one show, the line up was the most exciting yet.  Big
Cheese magazine wrote about the show at Islington
Academy, declaring that 'the Good To Go Tour hits the
capital in style on a warm summer night', whilst Kerrang!
wrote that the 'Second annual Good To Go Tour makes a big
splash'.

The bar was raised again in May 2007 with the first triple
headliner line up which featured New Yorkers Wheatus, in
support of their self released TooSoon Monsoon, MC Lars,
and Army of Freshmen, who returned to the tour following a
series of major shows with Bowling For Soup and Son of
Dork.  With the rotating headliners playing equal set lengths,
supported by Fueled By Ramen's Punchline, the Pittsburgh
band making their UK debut, the third Good To Go Tour was
the biggest yet, selling out clubs throughout England.   The
addition of 3 Storeys High and Failsafe to some of the shows
also gave audiences a taste of a few of the great UK bands
currently doing the rounds.

The tour aims to deliver exciting and diverse line ups so that
fans can learn to rely on the Good To Go Tour name to bring
them the best in American and British music.  'The whole
point of this tour', says founder Ed Sellers, 'is to have
something that fans can look forward to, that they know will
bring them interesting and fun line ups.  The choices of
bands are diverse enough to bring together fans from
different musical backgrounds, but close enough that
everyone can enjoy an entertaining and exciting show and
maybe find a band that they didn't know a lot about before'.

The Good To Go Tour also promises to stay true to its
support of independent British bands.  As an outlet to offer
upcoming UK acts the opportunity to share the stage with
established American artists that they might have been
influenced by, the tour has given local bands in many towns
some great opportunities.  It works both ways too, allowing
the tour direct access to the street level promotion and
enthusiastic word of mouth that can be invaluable in building
a local buzz amongst fans, particularly with the advent of
social networking sites such as MySpace.

With the wheels in motion for the fourth outing, the Good To
Go Tour continues to flourish as an exciting event in the live
music calendar.
