Blimey this is a weird one! I guess starting points would be The Reunion
Show and Attractions-era Elvis Costello. Oh, and Bowling for Soup. Mad as
a bag of badgers. I'm feeling the grandoise string intro, before it all goes a
bit piano-y (with shades of 'Baywatch' on the cracking 'Uniforms'.
Bizarrely vocalist Chris sounds rather like the old Brother's keeper singer
on some songs such as 'Gang Signs' and 'Get Um Up'. Throwing in a skip
load of synths and precision pop riffs, it's also frothing with a sense of fun
- something that the miserable bastard (ie. yours truly) writing this should
automatically hate. But f*ck it - 'Beg, Borrow, Steal' is great OK?
